Advanced Physics for Medicine
Workshop

Topics

The workshop will explore the synergy between physics and medicine and how these two disciplines work together to address state of the art biomedical questions. The program is addressed to both physicists and physicians, including an appropriate time for discussions aiming at fostering and identifying new collaborations opportunities.

Oral contributions are reserved to invited speakers. Participants interested to contribute with a poster can register using the registration form at the bottom of this page.

Registration and Fee

Non invited participants are kindly requested to download and fill the form below, and return it to the email address written at the bottom of the form itself.

The registration fee for non-invited participants (100€) can be paid on-site. It includes lunches and coffee breaks.

A poster session will be held during coffee breaks. Interested participants can bring their posters by filling the dedicated entry in the registration form above.

La Sapienza students can attend the Workshop for free without registering.

Venue, accommodation, and social dinner

The workshop will be held at Marconi building, one of the two the Physics department buildings located inside the Sapienza University campus in Rome. Sapienza University is at foot distance (1.4km) from the Rome main railway station (Termini station). Direct train connections with Leonardo Express, running every 15′-30′ minutes, travel time ~30 minutes, from/to Leonardo Da Vinci (FCO) international airport are available from/to Termini station.

Hotel

Invited participants will have a room booked at the Hotel Laurentia (Largo degli Osci, 63 – 00185 Rome), located 15minute walk from the meeting site.

Social dinner

The social dinner will be held at the Roof Garden Hotel Forum the 17th September at 8.30pm (Via Tor de’ Conti, 25 – 00184, Rome). The dinner cost (80€) can be paid at the restaurant.
